I am Jinny, a mother of four wonderful children. In May 2026, I decided to finally start this blog—a project I had been dreaming of for a long time. Raising my children while working full-time taught me the importance of quick, simple, and efficient cooking. Now, I am starting this journey not only to teach my children how to cook for themselves but also to challenge myself to learn and master the recipes I never had the time to perfect before. My goal is to share these experiences and make Korean home cooking easier for everyone.

The Korean dining table is a beautiful harmony of flavors and textures—where sweet, salty, and spicy notes meet a perfect balance of crisp and tender ingredients. Rather than focusing on a single main dish, we embrace the joy of combining various banchan (side dishes) to create a unique, balanced experience with every bite.

You can think of banchan as a vibrant palette of flavors; each small dish plays a vital role in completing your meal. Our goal is to share easy, delicious, and healthy Korean recipes that anyone can confidently recreate in their own home.
